BORail Flatlands primarily operates within the State of Newkirk. The extension of our tracks into the State of Fairmont is owned by SATransit Rail, meaning BORail run's limited service to the Whitebranch station. Our services are available only during rush hours on weekdays, with full service extending to Boylston.
(This arrangement is similar to that of the Metro-North Railroad, where the Main Line/Bergen County Line and Pascack Valley Line are managed by New Jersey Transit, and stations within New York State fall under the jurisdiction of the MTA. This model inspired our operational approach.)
